Our Divisions

When you join OCA, you’ll select at least one division to align with your professional interests. Each division offers targeted resources, events, and a focused community within the broader OCA network.

Oklahoma Association of Addiction Counselors (OAAC)

OAAC is a haven for counselors passionate about combating addiction issues. The division provides resources, training, and a community focused on understanding and addressing the complexities of various addictions, ensuring holistic care for affected individuals.

OKLAHOMA ASSOCIATION OF COUNSELOR EDUCATION & SUPERVISION (OACES)

OACES serves those dedicated to training the next generation of counselors. Ideal for university educators or those supervising licensure candidates, this division emphasizes the foundation and excellence of counseling education and mentorship in Oklahoma.

OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN COUNSELORS ASSOCIATION (OCCA)

The purpose of OCCA is to bring education and professional standards to those who incorporate Christian faith principles with evidence-based counseling practice. OCCA serves to promote positive professional understanding and community awareness of Christian Counseling.

Oklahoma Mental Health Association (OMHA)

The OMHA welcomes everyone with an interest in mental health. This division provides insights, resources, and training focused on abroad spectrum of mental health topics, fostering a comprehensive understanding and approach to mental well-being.

OKLAHOMA SOCIETY FOR AFFECTIONAL, INTERSEX, AND GENDER EXPANSIVE IDENTITIES (OK-SAIGE)

OK-SAIGE serves to represent the interests and address the concerns of both counseling professionals and clients of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities (Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Queer Spectrum), This division aims to promote awareness, advocacy, and to ensure that all 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals receive ethical, culturally-inclusive, liberating services that attend to all aspects of their identities within the state of Oklahoma.

OCA Regions

The NW Region of OCA includes the counties of Cimarron, Texas, Beaver, Harper, Woods, Alfalfa, Grant, Kay, Noble, Garfield, Major, Woodward, Ellis, Roger Mills, Dewey, Blaine, Kingfisher, and Custer.

The NE Region of OCA includes the counties of Osage, Washington, Nowata, Craig, Ottawa, Delaware, Mayes, Rogers, Tulsa, Pawnee, Payne, Creek, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Muskogee, Wagoner, Cherokee, and Adair.

The Central Region of OCA includes the counties of McClain, Cleveland, Pottawatomie, Lincoln, Logan, Oklahoma, and Canadian.

The SW Region of OCA includes the counties of Love, Carter, Garvin, Stephens, Jefferson, Grady, Caddo, Comanche, Southwest, Cotton, Tillman, Kiowa, Washita, Beckham, Greer, Harman, and Jackson.

The SE Region of OCA includes the counties of Sequoyah, Haskell, Latimer, Leflore, McIntosh, Hughes, Seminole, Murray, Marshall, Johnston, Coal, Atoka, Bryan, Pontotoc, Pittsburg, McCurtain, Pushmataha, and Choctaw.
